The official Twitter account of Haruichi Furudate's volleyball-themed manga Haikyu!! announced yesterday on April 9 that the manga will collaborate with Morinaga & Company' popular soft chewy candy bland Hi-Chew in May. In Japanese pronunciation, Haikyu and Hi-Chew are very similar. The Haikyu!! version package imitates the original Hi-Chew logo and features the deformed character illustrations of the manga. The lemon squash flavor candy will be sold only at the 7-Eleven stores across Japan in May.
The Haikyu!! TV anime is now available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: USA, Canada UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
