Imagine a world without heroes…but not for very long, because Crunchyroll has just added HEROBANK, based on SEGA’s 3DS game, to the spring 2014 season of streaming anime.
HEROBANK is set to broadcast every Monday starting on April 7, at 4:00am Pacific Time, and free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/herobank.
Background and story
Based on Sega’s HEROBANK 3DS game, the anime adaptation centers around Kaito Gosho, an elementary school boy who has amassed a 10 billion yen debt! The only way he can pay it off is to master “Hero Gi” and win matches in a futuristic cyber sport called. “Hero battle.”
The anime features Yuko Sanpei, D-Fragments’ Azuma Matsubara, as Kaito, Hiroshi Kamiya, Attack on Titan’s Levi, as Nagare Amano and Miyuki Sawashiro, Lupin III’s Fujiko Mine, as Mitsuo Zaizen.
HEROBANK will be available to Crunchyroll’s Premium members worldwide ex Asia, and available to free members in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden.
