Your wild weekend continues unabated as Crunchyroll announces two more new shows for the spring season. Hang onto your hats, because Haikyu!! and Baby Steps begin streaming soon!
Haikyu!! is set to broadcast every Saturday starting on April 6th, at 2:00am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/haikyu.
Based on the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shōyō Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the "King of the Court" Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
Voice actress Ayumu Murase, who also played Antoni Gaudí from Nobunagun, will be voicing Shōyō Hinata, while Tobio Kageyama will be voiced by Saint Seiya’s Pegasus Seiya, Kaito Ishikawa.
Haikyu!! will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: USA, Canada UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Based on the original manga by Hikaru Katsuki, Baby Steps centers on a honor student named Eiichiro Maruo who becomes frustrated with his life and decides to join the tennis club. Despite lacking experience and physical strength, he utilizes his studious nature to develop a strategic approach to playing tennis. Taking notes of his opponents’ habits and tendencies, he is able to predict their next move before they even react. He also meets Natsu Takasaki, a beautiful girl with a passion for tennis. With her help, he aims to become a professional tennis player.
Eiichiro will be voiced by Log Horion’s Aizel, Taishi Murata while Natsu will be played by Tiger & Bunny’s Blue Rose, Minako Kotobuki. Singer songwriter Mao Abe will be performing “Believe in Yourself” for the anime’s opening theme.
Baby Steps will be available to Crunchyroll’s audiences in the following territories: USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, and Turkey.
