Some of you saw this coming. Others may now be bolting upright with shock and delight. Either way, Aniplex's hotly anticipated MEKAKUCITY ACTORS will begin streaming on Crunchyroll starting this weekend.
MEKAKUCITY ACTORS is set to broadcast every Saturday starting on April 12 at 10:30 am Pacific Time, and free members are able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/mekakucity.
Story and background
After a series of incidents that occurred on August 14th and 15th, a group of boys and girls, each with their own unique power are brought together. The members call themselves the “Mekakushi Dan” (Blindfold Organization). Their goal is to solve the mysteries of the incidents to find the truth.
Akiyuki Shimbou (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Bakemonogatari) will direct the series at studio SHAFT. Voice actors include Mamoru Miyano (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club’s Rin Matsuoka), Kana Hanazawa (Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic’s Kogyoku Ren) and Kana Asumi (Black Rock Shooter’s Yu).
MEKAKUCITY ACTORS will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North and South America, South Africa, the Middle East, the Arab League, Europe except UK and Ireland, French-speaking Canada, French DOM/TOM., Arab League, and Europe (including French-speaking world, but excluding UK)
