The official site for Japan Expo announced on March 7 that 28-year-old popular Japanese otaku singer/actress Shoko Nakagawa, also known as Shokotan, will make her first appearance at this year's event scheduled for July 2 to 6. She will sing on the Live House stage for a J-POP and anime showcase. She previously performed at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California, in July 2008. Other currently-announced Japanese musical guests are moumoon (Viper's Creed ED, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal 3rd ED) and Rhythmic Toy World. And Kitaro Kousaka, who worked for Hayao Miyazaki's 2013 film The Wind Rises as the animation director, will also join the event as a creator guest.

Since 2002, Shoko NAKAGAWA has showed more and more talents: singer, actress, TV hostess, she even
has her own fashion brand, mmts. Next April, 9lives will be released, her 4th album, not mention her many
mini-albums and anime cover albums. Several of her songs have been used as anime or move themes, such
as Kokoro no Antenna in 2009 for Pokemon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, RAY OF LIGHT in 2010 for Fullmetal
Alchemist: Brotherhood, or Tsuyogari in 2011 for Beelzebub. She's meeting you at Japan Expo for signings and
of course on the Live House stage for a J-pop and anime showcase!
