The mini-trend in big screen, big effects adaptation of Journey to the West is continuing. Following the Stephen Chow version, Soi Cheang (Accident, Motorway) is helming an all-star version with Donnie Yen as Sun Wukong/Son Goku, Chow Yun Fat as Jade Emperor and Aaron Kwok as Bull Demon King. The film opens at the end of the month.
