"Awesome Games Done Quick" Marathon is Back to Raise Money for Cancer Prevention

As of earlier today it's finally that time of the year again! Those who have tuned into Speed Demos Archive's Awesome Games Done Quick marathon before know how much fun it is to watch, and the 2014 edition is running from January 5-11.

At the time of this writing they're blasting through Banjo Kazooie. For anyone who's new to this, it's essentially a non-stop streaming game marathon that has various members of the SDA community and their friends speed-running a ton of great games, new and old and across all platforms.

All donations made during the marathon go to the Prevent Cancer foundation, a non-profit organization that saves lives through cancer research, education, and community outreach. Right now they're already sitting at about $63,000 of a $500,000 goal. Once they pass that mark, they'll keep increasing the goal until the marathon ends.

Be sure to tune in and maybe even donate. They'll be taking certain requests and giving shout-outs live throughout the week.
