Singer and voice actress Minori Chihara -- known to anime fans for her work in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Sound! Euphonium -- is about to share a huge landmark with her fans. This summer, she will be performing her 100th live solo concert.
"Summer Dream 5" marks the return of Chihara's annual performances at Lake Kawaguchi's Stellar Theater. The event will be held over three days at the beginning of August, with the first two performances being a special acoustic concert. For the third performance, Chihara will be joined by a live electric band.
This third performance will also be her 100th solo concert.
The singer is currently wrapping up her nationwide "Minori Chihara Live Tour 2017 ~Take the Offensive~" with shows at Zepp Nagoya this Friday and Saturday. She will also be appearing at Anime Expo's Anisong World Matsuri "Japan Super Live" this August 1 in Los Angeles.
