The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Hinowa Kouzuki's Youkai Apart no Yuuga na Nichijo (Gracious Daily Life at the Youkai Apartment) light novel series is updated with a a key visual featuring its main characters and posted a 25-second teaser introducing the voice of the protagonist Yuushi Inaba (CV: Atsushi Abe) and his best friend Mizuki Hase (Yuichi Nakamura). The two reprise their roles in the drama CDs released from 2012 to 2014.
The novel series featuring 16-year-old high school student boy Yuushi Inaba who happens to live in an cheap and old apartment filled with supernatural beings was published for 10 volumes (with one spin-off volume) from Kodansha's YA!ENTERTAINMENT imprint from 2003 to 2013. And its manga adaptation has been serialized in the publisher's Monthly Shonen Sirius since 2011 and 13 tankobon volumes are available now.
The TV anime adaptation is set to premiere on Tokyo MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS11 in July as the forth title
from the Anime no Me programming block, following Sweetness and Lightning (July-September 2016),
TRICKSTER (October 2016-March 2017), and the ongoing The Laughing Salesman NEW (April 2017-).
Advance screening event is scheduled to be held on July 1, Atsushi Abe is confirmed to join for a talk show.
