The official website for the upcoming TV anime Sanrio Danshi/Sanrio Boys from the cross-media project of the same name featuring five high school student boys who love Sanrio's mascot characters today posted a 25-second first PV to announce its January 2018 premiere in Japan. The tagline for the anime is, "What's wrong with being boys."
The project was launched in November 2015 and has included its official Twitter activities, manga serialization by Mai Ando on Sho-Comi and MangaONE, a smartphone game operated by Cybird, and character CDs titled "Sanrio Danshi Birthday Memorial CD" released by Pony Canyon.
