Married Life is Strange in Live-Action Film Inspired by Yahoo! Answers Post

Ie ni Kaeru to Tsuma ga Kanarazu Shinda Furi wo Shite Imasu ("When I Come Home, My Wife Always Pretends to be Dead"), a manga based on an unusual 2010 post to Yahoo! Answers by K. Kajunsky about a salaryman baffled by his wife's bizarre behavior, is being adapted into a live-action film that will hit theaters in Japan in the Spring season of 2018.

In the film, Ken Yasuda stars as Jun, a salaryman who is happily married to Chie (played by Nana Eikura). Jun is befuddled when everyday Chie begins faking her own death in increasingly bizarre and graphic ways. Can their marriage survive Chie's macabre pranks?

The original Yahoo! Answers post by K. Kajunsky has been adapted into a manga essay format with illustrations by ichida that is published by PHP Laboratory. The post also inspired a 2010 Vocaloid song by Hobonichi-P. The Ie ni Kaeru to Tsuma ga Kanarazu Shinda Furi wo Shite Imasu live-action film is directed by Toshio Lee.
