Anime series Konbini Kareshi, about a group of high school boys whose paths cross after school at the local convenience store, will sound very similar to its previous mixed media counterpart. The project's official social media has announced that previously-involved cast members will be returning to voice the anime version of their characters.
Returning characters and talent include:
Haruki Mishima: Takuma Terashima (Snake, Black Butler)
Miharu Mashiki: Sayaka Kanda (Yuna, Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale)
Towa Honda: Kenichi Suzumura (Lavi, D.Gray-man)
Mami Mihashi: Rie Kugimiya (Alphonse Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist)
Mikado Nakajima: Shinnosuke Tachibana (Shinichi Tamaki, Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches)
Waka Kisaki: Yukari Tamura (Elizabeth Midford, Black Butler)
Nasa Sanagi: Yuuki Kaji ("I," Kubikiri Cycle)
Nozomi Itokawa: Ami Koshimizu (Kallen Stadtfeld, Code Geass)
Natsu Asumi: Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi Ackerman, Attack on Titan)
Kokono Minowa: Miyuki Sawashiro (Ryoko Sakurai, Senki Zesshou Symphogear)
Masamune Sakurakouji: Takahiro Sakurai (Suzaku Kururugi, Code Geass)
Aki Asukai: Yui Horie (Toru Honda, Fruits Basket)
Joining the cast will be singer Mariko Nagai as Akira Mishima, and Kotaro Nishiyama (Atsushi Kinugawa, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (Revolver in the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS) as the shopkeekers at the convenience store.
Konbini Kareshi is being produced by Studio Pierrot, and will follow the six boys of the original project as they fall in love. The series will air starting in July.
