As previously reported, the first edition of the "Yamada-oniichan's Penguin Talk" event at the Tobu Zoo in Saitama has come and gone, and voice actress Ikuko Chikuta (Hululu in Kemono Friends) was present for some hands-on education about Humboldt penguins. Chikuta also took the opportunity to pose for a photo op with otaku penguin and Internet sensation, Grape-kun.

In truth, Grape-kun doesn't seem terribly pleased. The 20 year old male Humboldt penguin became an Internet meme and a fan favorite when he fell in love with the standee of Hululu, a Homboldt Penguin Friend, that was placed in his enclosure as part of a collaboration campaign between Tobu Zoo and Kemono Friends that runs until June 25, 2017.
