The Pokémon Company has a couple treats ready for Halloween, starting with a special Super-Size Pumpkaboo for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Players can download the Pokémon via Nintendo Network starting today.
Getting Super-Size Pumpkaboo will send you on the path toward qualifying for the Trick-or-Treat Friendly Online Competition, which requires every participant to have a Super-Size Gourgeist in their Battle Box. Trade Pumpkaboo or evolve it into Gourgeist and you'll be ready to go.

Even non-competitors can get in the Halloween spirit with Pumpkaboo! This Super-Size Pumpkaboo comes with moves perfect for Halloween, including Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face. Plus, it’s holding a Rocky Helmet, which can cause damage to its attacker!
Pumpkaboo, the Pumpkin Pokémon, comes in four sizes, each featuring different stats for players to take advantage of. Super-Size Pumpkaboo typically possess a larger HP stat than their smaller counterparts, making them more durable during Pokémon Battles. Even more bone-chilling than that, Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist are the only known Pokémon that can learn the move Trick-or-Treat, which can add an eerie element to any encounter by adding the Ghost type to opponents!
