VIDEO: "Final Fantasy XV" Q&A Addresses Concerns, Shares Footage

In an effort to alleviate some concerns, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata answered some burning questions as part of a Type-0 HD Extended Talk Show. Some of the issues raised include discrepancies between TGS 2014 footage and the E3 2013 trailer, the button-holding issue and attack maneuvers, character changing, jumping, free running, and more.

For example, when asked whether Final Fantasy XV plays more like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy Type-0, Tabata replied, "We explained that when you push the attack button, you invoke the standard combo, which is similar to Type-0. Considering the battle system as a whole, however, it is different from both Type-0 and Kingdom Hearts."

Tabata also responded to an accusation of being poor at putting out information, and provided additional development details. Be sure to check out the full translation at Gematsu, and you can dig into some new FFXV footage at the 48:15 mark below.

For something on the lighter side, Tabata is really enjoying the Photoshop Car Driving meme that has fans swapping out backgrounds like so:

He even provided official assets like the one below for folks to make more.
