Dragon Quest Heroes will let players take on the world of DQ in Musou-style crowd-brawling action as a variety of heroes from the series' history. A couple more of those heroes have been revealed in this week's issue of Famitsu, with series creator Yuji Horii and Koei Tecmo producer Kou Shibusawa confirming the inclusion of Jessica Albert and Yangus from Dragon Quest VIII.
While Horii has been mostly running the character selection process, Shibusawa said he specifically piped up and requested the inclusion of Jessica. As for Yangus and the process in general, Horii said, "It's fun to be able to bring these characters together from disparate games, especially ones that could never encounter one another in the normal games. Aside from Jessica, Yangus will also be showing up to help represent the old geezer crew."
Jessica and Yangus join previously revealed characters that hail from Dragon Quest IV (Alena, Kiryl, Maya) and Dragon Quest VI (Terry). Dragon Quest Heroes is currently slated for a spring 2015 release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan.
