Following his work on 2012's Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, series creator Masashi Kishimoto is back working on the scenario and character designs for The Last: Naruto the Movie. Since it was first announced, news about the manga has certainly given it a legitimate air of finality. Along with the movie celebrating 15 years of Naruto, the Naruto New Era Opening Project will also feature newly announced 2015 international Naruto Exhibition tour.
Playing into the movie's tag line, “The Last Story, The First Love," its theme will be "Vessel of Stars" by Sukima Switch, whose anime work has previously included Space Brothers' second opening, Haikyu!!'s second and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood's third. The jazz fashion duo's Shintaro Tokita and Takuya Ohashi will also be doing guest voice work in the feature. The single will be released December 3rd ahead of the movie's 6th kickoff.
