FEATURE: "Sailor Moon Crystal" Stamp Rally in Azabu-Juban Shopping District

The first-press limited deluxe edition of the first volume of the Sailor Moon Crystal Blu-ray discs, which included the first two episodes, was just released in Japan on October 15, one month ahead of its regular edition on November 12. To help promoting it, the Azabu-Juban Shopping District in Minato-ku, Tokyo, is now holding a special stamp rally for two weeks between October 15 and 31.

The fans are given a sheet with blank spaces where the stamps will go, and the stamps are set in the five locations in the area, where actually appeared in the Sailor Moon story including the famous Hikawa Shrine. So this is also a kind of "Seichi Junrei" (pilgrimage to sacred places) activity. When the sheet is full, they turn it in for a chance to get an autographed flag by the voice actresses of the Crystal anime. I went to the town on Saturday afternoon then collected the five stamps. Check the photo report below.
