Welcome to this Summer 2014 Movie and OVA Guide! Most of these movies and OVAs are not available legally because the movies are still in Japan while the OVAs are bundled with the DVDs and Blu-Rays. Consider this as a preview. Here are our impressions:
Taka: I love the OVAs for my favorite shows. It's like getting a box of chocolates. I'm looking forward to Kill la Kill (which aired recently), Gargantia, Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun. Wow, I see a lot of familiar shows I have enjoyed with my teammates and friends in the community. Hope you enjoy them.
BigHeart711: I haven't seen the Kill La Kill one yet, but I would've by the time of this being posted. :P The other one I look forward to is Pokemon's special, Strongest Mega Evolution Act II. The other OVAs and Movies that catch my eye are Attack on Titan: No Regrets, the Terra Formars OVA and HappinessCharge Pretty Cure's movie.
Movies and OVAs are important because they serve as extra helpings for the fans who want more after finishing up an anime series. Hope you guys and gals enjoy the guide. Let us know what movies and specials you're looking forward to!
Credits: I used a few sources, Neregate, Anime News Network, AniChart, and MyAnimelist, to compile the list. There was a big issue when two of my sources had 21 OVAs while the other had 45 OVAs. This guide has a mix of OVAs from August to December. I thankBigHeart711 for creating an awesome banner.
