"Gatchaman Crowds" and "World Conquest Zvezda Plot" Celebrate Shared Home Town

Since 2011, Tachikawa, located in western Tokyo Metropolis, has been celebrating its status as the "City of Anime." Generally this means that its Autumn Rakuichi notes its role as the inspiration for the Academy City setting of A Certain Magical Index/Scientific Railgun, but this year Raildex seems to be getting a bit of rest as Gatchaman Crowds returns, joined by fellow locally set anime World Conquest Zvezda Plot.

The October 25th event will feature exhibits of cosplay and itasha (decorated cars), anison (anime music), and maid cafes in addition to booths spotlighting local attractions.

Around the event, a West Udogawa Stamp Rally will reward travelers with special World Conquest Zvezda Plot bags.

Cast and staff of Crowds will also be taking the stage on the 25th. Specifically who hasn't been announced yet.

However, the limited Crowds merch has already been previewed...
