The Wrap has learned that Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street's Naomi Lapaglia) is in early talks to star in DreamWorks' live-action Ghost in the Shell. Snow White And The Huntsman helmer Rupert Sanders is still attached direct an adaptation of Masamune Shirow's sci-fi manga.
William Wheeler (The Reluctant Fundamentalist , the Hoax) has written a screenplay for the project being produced by Avi Arad, Ari Arad and Steven Paul. The project was picked up by Dreamworks several years ago, fueld by the personal passion of Steven Spielberg. Plans are to shoot it in 3D.
