As alt audience anime block Noitamina prepares for the fall season, a second ad for A-1 Pictures' (Sword Art Online, Silver Spoon) adaptation of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (April is Your Lie) has run with more of the band Goose House's music for the adaptation of Naoshi Arakawa's 2011 manga about a piano prodigy who gives up playing after his mother's death, only to be drawn back into music by a free-spirited girl playing the violin.
Cast includes:
Kosei Arima: Natsuki Hanae
Kaori Miyazono: Risa Taneda
Tsubaki Sawabe: Ayane Sakura
Ryota Watari: Ryota Ohsaka
Takeshi Aiza: Yuki Kaji
Kyohei Ishiguro directs with Takao Yoshioka (Watamote, Elfen Lied, Highschool DxD) on composition, Yukiko Aikei (Accel World, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere) on character design/animation direction and Masaru Yokoyama on music. Broadcast kicks off in October.
