Ahead of theatrical promotion, a trailer and visual have gone online for Expelled from Paradise. Toei Animation's upcoming feature is set to be directed by Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Mobile Suit Gundam 00) with Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) writing the script.
Saito Masatsugu provides character designs, with Junya Ishigaki on the mecha. Rie Kugimiya voices protagonist Angela Balzac while Shinichiro Miki voices male lead Zarik "Dingo" Kajiwara, with Kamiya Hiroshi joining them.
The story is set in the future earth devastated by Nanohazard. In AD 2700, most of the human race are living in the cyber world where only their intelligence exists. An investigator named Angela, who lives in the cyber world, comes down to the earth for the first time, wearing a mechanical body Suit Ahan which has a strong combat ability. With Dingo, an investigator on the earth, she begins a journey to the survival world.
Following a limited theatrical run at spots like Shinjuku Wald 9, DVD and Blu-ray releases are planned for December 10th.
