A new commercial is offering the latest look at this summer's adaptation of Momo Kyun Sword, a light novel series about a bishoujo version of folklore hero Momotarō, serialized online with rotating artists.
Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS' Shinsuke Yanagi will direct the anime with Strike Witches' Tsuyoshi Tamai scripting and animator Hiroshi Tomioko on character design.
The theme song "Momoiro Fantasy" will be sung by Haruka Chisuga.
This July TV anime is based on the first season of the novel series, "Hoshi to Ougon no Tachi" (The Star and the Golden Sword), which tells Momoko's quest with her three animal friends (dog, monkey, pheasant) to retrieve pieces of the stolen treasure "Michimi no Momo" scattered all over Japan.
