Popular light novel turned anime Strike The Blood has had a social card game tie-in titled Strike The Blood :the New Progenitor on the Mobage mobile game service since November 2013 and the pre-order for the game's new companion visual book is now open ahead of its August 27th release in Japan.

The book not only contains more than 160 highly rare card illustrations drawn by animators from the TV series, but it will also come with an exclusively drawn SR class card of the series's main heroine, Yukina Himeragi. Pre-orders are now available at Amazon and Dengekiya for 2,961 yen until July 13th.
The social card game follows a new storyline where a player of the game joins as a new progenitor called Prototype, who are artificially created to become a progenitor. The organization that created Prototype was completely destroyed by the player while losing control of the power during an experiment, but lost all memory of it due to the accident and was found by the series' main character Kojo Akatsuki drifting along the shore of Itogami Island.
