Crunchyroll is getting ready to stream the Free! Eternal Summer anime! The series is set to broadcast every Wednesday starting on July 2, at 8:30am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/swim.
As the ending of the first hit season suggested, Free! Eternal Summer returns to continue the saga of the Iwatobi Swim Club! After the last swimming competition, the bonds between Haru, Makoto, Nagisa and Rei have greatly deepened. With each passing day, each member continued to grow. Rin tries to overcome him past and, with the help of his new teammates, aims to create the strongest swim team yet. Holding on to their ambitions, they face themselves and welcome the new summer!
The original vocal team from the first arc of Free! reunite for the second season, including Nobunaga Shimazaki as Haru, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Makoto, Tsubasa Yonaga as Nagisa, Daisuke Hirakawa as Rei and Mamoru Miyano as Rin. This season they are joined by Yoshimasa Hosoya as Rin’s childhood friend Sousuke Yamazaki. Oldcodex will be performing the opening theme song “Dried Up Youthful Fame”, while the cast will be singing the ending theme song “Future Fish.”
Free! Eternal Summer will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience worldwide except for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, Palau and Papua New Guinea, South Korea and Japan.
