Background and story

Based on the award-winning light novel by Kazuma Ootorino, Nanana’s Buried Treasure focuses on Jyugo Yama, a boy who was disowned by his father and forced to transfer to a high school on an artificial island. He begins to live by himself, only to discover his room is haunted by the ghost named Nanana Ryugajou. She was murdered ten years ago and cannot rest in peace until her killer is found. Before her death, Nanana collected things from all over the world and hid them on the island. Jyugo and Nanana set out to find these treasures and use their mysterious powers to find the culprit of the murder.

Rui Tanabe, known for her work as Wizard Barristers’ Benmashi, will star as Nanana Ryugajou, while Yuki Ono, who has voiced Valvrave the Liberator's Kyuma, will play Jyugo Yama.

Nanana’s Buried Treasure will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North and South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Middle East, the Arab League, and Europe excluding France, Switzerland, Belgium, Algeria, Monaco, Tunisia, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Italy.
