The official homepage for the Love Live School Idol Festival smartphone game has announced that the game will be localized for multiple regions later this year, with Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong versions along with a dedicated English version beginning in the Spring. Each version will also have their own infrastructure rather than being run off of the main Japanese server.
This is great news for those who have been wanting to play the game spliced with visual novel elements and should make it much easier to understand why the game has been such a hit.
