"Pokémon Bank" Now Available in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand

The western launch of Nintendo's subscription-based Pokémon Bank 3DS app was supposed to take place back in December, but was postponed due to a large volume of traffic on the Nintendo Network service. Now, as of today, it's finally available in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Those of you in any of the launch regions can try it out and receive a complimentary Celebi.

Pokémon Bank lets players deposit, withdraw, and manage up to 3,000 Pokémon in private boxes online. You can transfer from multiple copies of Pokémon X and Y, and the accompanying Poké Transporter app lets you transfer from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 to X and Y

There's still no word on when Pokémon Bank will launch in North America. Following a trial period, the app will run users $4.99 per year.
