Noragami [ノラガミ] is a fantasy anime adaptation of the manga by Adachitoka [あだちとか] and directed by Tamura Kotaro [タムラ コータロー]. BONES [ボンズ] (EUREKA SEVEN AO, Space Dandy, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) is the production house for this anime title.
Noragami has already started airing on TOKYO MX on the 5th of Jan.
The story revolves around Yato, a poor minor deity whose dream is to have his own shrine and be worshipped by the people. In order to get more followers, he tries to spread his name by writing his cellphone number on the wall of restrooms across the city and offering his help for 5 yen. One day, a girl named Iki Hiyori saves him from getting hit by a truck, but she gets hit instead, although she somehow survives the accident without any serious injuries. However, Hiyori's body becomes "abnormal", so she pursues Yato in order to return her body to normal, and that becomes the beginning of their journey together.
