A new teaser trailer has been released for Tsure x Dure Children, an upcoming short form TV anime based on the 4-panel high school love comedy comic by Toshiya Wakabayashi about kids who have trouble confessing their romantic feelings.
The original Tsure x Dure Children manga began life as a web comic before being picked up for publication in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine and then moving to Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Described as a "heart-pounding love comedy", the series features young people who find themselves in various embarrassing and awkward situations when they try to confess their romantic feelings to one another. An English language version is published by Kodansha Comics.
The Tsure x Dure Children TV anime is directed by Hiraku Kaneko and features animation by Studio Gokumi. Each episode of the series will be approximately 15 minutes in length. Tsure x Dure Children will broadcast in Japan according to the following schedule:
- Tokyo MX: every Tuesday during the 23:15 time slot beginning on July 04, 2017.
- Sun TV: every Tuesday during the 24:15 time slot beginning on July 04, 2017.
- BS11: every Tuesday during the 26:15 time slot beginning on July 04, 2017.
(Please note: some Japanese broadcast schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 26:15 time slot on Tuesday evening is actually at 2:15 AM JST on Wednesday morning.)
