Four-member Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK has posted a full promotional video for their latest song “Mighty Long Fall” on its official YouTube channel. It is used as the theme song for the upcoming live-action film Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno), the first episode of the two-part Kyoto arc. The song will be included in their double A-side 9th single “Mighty Long Fall/Decision” to be released in Japan on July 30. The band previously played “The Beginning,” the theme song for the first live-action film in 2012.
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno hits Japanese theaters on August 1, then the second part Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends) will successively follow on September 13.
