Crunchyroll to Stream "Ai-Mai-Mi Season 2" and "Strange+ Season 2" Anime

Make way for a double whammy in the new streaming announcements department at Crunchyroll… Ai-Mai-Mi Season 2 and Strange+ Season 2 are set to begin broadcasting today! 




Ai-Mai-Mi Season 2 is set to broadcast every Wednesday starting on July 10, at 11:00 am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/aimaimi.


 



 


The loveable manga club girls are back! Ai, Mai, Mii, and Ponoka-senpai who might be fighting evil invaders threatening Earth, facing off against rivals in tournaments, and dealing with other absurd situations when they are not drawing manga!


 


The sequel will bring back the original cast from the first season. Yuka Ōtsubo as Ai, Aya Uchida as Mai, Maaya Uchida as Mii, and Ai Kayano as Ponoka-sempai. The Japanese comedian Seitaro Mukai also joins as the narrator and background voices. The studio Seven is again producing the anime.


 


Ai-Mai-Mi Season 2 will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience worldwide excluding Japan.


 


 



 


Strange+ Season 2 is set to broadcast every Thursday starting on July 10th, at 11:30am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/strange.


 


Based on an original manga written and illustrated by Beruno Mikawa, Strange+ Season 2 is a comedic mystery focused on a boy named Kou who joins his brother's detective agency. Hilarious hijinks ensue with every new client that books them.


 


The cast features veteran voice actor Tomokazu Seki, known for his roles as Archer in Fate/Zero and Rob Lucci in One Piece, as Kou, another well-known voice actor Jun Fukuyama, Shinra Kishitani in Durarara!! and The Hero from Maoyu, as Takumi, Ryotaro Okiayu, also known as Akio Furukawa from Clannad and Scar from the Fullmetal Alchemist series, as Masamune, and Satsuki Yukino, who voiced Miho Amakata from Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club and Kagome Higurashi from Inuyasha, as Miwa.


 


Strange+ Season 2 will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience worldwide excluding Japan.
