Syllable Boys Sing and Dance in "Hiragana Dashi" Music Video

Everyone wants to see sets of Japanese phonetic characters re-imagined as handsome young men with character designs by Yukiko Horiguchi, but is the world ready for a MikuMikuDance-animated song and dance routine by the Hiragana Danshi?

Created to promote the upcoming smart phone game app, the Hiragana Danshi "Theatrical Version" preview is directed by ariNO and features A (voiced by Yūki Kaji), U (voiced by Taichi Ichikawa), and No (voiced by Shougo Yano) performing a song entitled "#ray of rain".

Hiragana Boys began life as a comedy sketch on the Japanese TV variety program, iChara, which airs on NTV on Fridays during the 25:35 time slot (actually Saturday morning at 1:35 AM).
