Pokémon Reprises "The Rise of Darkrai" Song for 20th Summer Movie

A new trailer has been released for Pokémon the Movie 20: I Choose You!, and it reveals that the ending theme for the movie will be another new version of a previous piece of Pokémon music, specifically the "Oración no Theme - Tomoni Arukou" ("Theme of Oración - Let's Walk Together") song from 2007's Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai film.

The original "Theme of Oración" is an instrumental piece written by Shinji Miyazaki, while the new version features added lyrics written by Futoshi of Aqua Timez and performed by Asuca Hayashi. "Theme of Oración - Let's Walk Together" is composed and arranged by Akimitsu Honma, and is published by Epic Records Japan.

Pokémon the Movie 20: I Choose You! is directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and features animation by OLM. The film hits theaters in Japan on July 15, 2017. The film not only re-tells the story of the 1st episode of the Pokémon animated series, but it also explores an original story in which Ash and Pikachu grow closer by undertaking a quest to meet the Legendary Pokémon, Ho-Oh.
