For one day at least (it's opening), Sword Art Online anime movie Ordinal beat Pirates Of The Caribbean - The Revenge Of Salazar (ala Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) in the Italian box office. Pirates is actually working on its fourth week in the territory, and landed at #2 last weekend, between The Mummy (debut weekend) and Wonder Woman (second week).
For June 13th, the top of the charts was Mummy, then SAO, then Pirates, then WW.
As of the end of May, Ordinal Scale had taken in over 3.35 billion yen ($30 million) internationally.
