New Challenges Arise in "My Hero Academia" PV

The next cour of My Hero Academia kicks off its Japanese broadcast on July 08, 2017, and now a new preview video and the OP theme performer for the next installment have been revealed. The new trailer highlights the conflicts with the deranged hero-killer, Stain, as well as Deku's training with veteran hero Gran Torino and the evil machinations of Tomura Shigaraki.

The trailer also samples the new opening theme for the next cour of My Hero Academia. The song, which is entitled "Sora ni Utaeba" ("If You Would Sing in the Sky"), is performed by amazarashi.

The original My Hero Academia manga by Kōhei Horikoshi is serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump manga magazine, and an English language version is also published by Viz Media. The My Hero Academia TV anime is directed by Kenji Nagasaki and features animation by Bones. The series is distributed digitally in North America by Crunchyroll and Funimation, who describe the story as follows:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.

The next cour of My Hero Academia continues its Japanese broadcast on Yomiuri TV, Nippon TV, and other stations beginning on July 08, 2017.
