Metal Monsters Rampage in Maximum the Hormone Manga

 

Metal band Maximum the Hormone is getting the manga treatment in an upcoming serialization that combines the drawing talents of manga artist Hideaki Fujii with the scenario and original work of guitarist / vocalist Maximum the Ryo-kun.

 

 

The series kicks off in the September 2017 issue of Shogakukan's CoroCoro Aniki manga magazine, which will be published in Japan on June 15, 2017. The prologue story features Maximum the Ryo-kun meeting with Shogakukan executives, recalling his love for CoroCoro Comic as a kid, and describing his earlier collaboration with Hideaki Fujii for the cover of Maximum the Hormone's 2013 album, Yoshū Fukushū.

 

 

 

 

Purchasing the September 2017 issue of CoroCoro Aniki earns readers a chance to win tickets to Maximum the Hormone's "Mimi Kajiru Headliner Tour", specificially the concert that will be held at the Shinkiba Studio Coast venue in Tokyo on June 27, 2017. A total of 5 tickets will be given away. CoroCoro Aniki retails for 680 yen ($6.18 US) including tax.
