Three days after the final 12th episode of the TV anime adaptation of Taro Hitsuji's Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor light novel was aired in Japan, the novel's illustrator Kurone Mishima posted a "Thank You" art featuring its heroine Sistine Fibel and Aqua, the heroine from Natsume Akatsuki's KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, for which the artist has worked as the official illustrator.
Following the first season in early 2016, the second season of the KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! was aired for 10 episodes from January to March of this year, then the Akashic Records of Bastard Magic InstructorTV anime followed with 12 episodes from April to June.
Mishima wrote, "With my feelings of gratitude, for two TV anime based on the light novel series that I have worked as illustrator were aired for two consecutive cours. For about six months, I was able to
spend very happy and wonderful time! If you learn about the series with the anime, I would be very
happy if you can try the novels as well! Thank you very much!"

Mishima previously also provided an illustration of Fibel and Aqua for the cover of May 2017 issue of
Kadokawa's NyanType.
The next 12th volume of KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! will be released in two editions:
4,752-yen special edition with an anime Blu-ray on July 24
648-yen regular edition on August 1
