XING, one of the largest Japanese karaoke companies, today reported the rankings for the most sung songs in each category based on the numbers from its online karaoke service JOYSOUND for the first five months of the year 2017, counted between January 1 and May 31.
Among the songs have been released in Japan this year so far, the OP theme for the mega hit TV anime Kemono Friends, "Yokoso Japari Park he" is confirmed as the most popular one. The song performed by the anime series' VA unit Doubutsu Biscuits and PPP (PePaPu) was released on February 8, and as reported, it was certificated Gold by The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) with over 100,000 paid downloads.
