Anime fans can get ready for a dose of noodly goodness, because according to the most recent issue of Takeshobo's Manga Life STORIA magazine, Naru Narumi's gourmet manga Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san (known in English as Miss Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles) is being adapted into a TV anime with animation by Studio Gokumi (Lance N' Masques).
Additional details about the production (such as the cast, staff, and release date) have not yet been revealed. The story of Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san follows a mild-mannered high school student named Koizumi who is secretly a high-level ramen aficiando. Koizumi scours the Japanese culinary world in search of the perfect bowl of ramen.
The original Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san manga is serialized in Takeshobo's Manga Life STORIA magazine. The series was previously adapted into a live-action TV drama that ran for 1 season on Fuji TV in 2015 with a follow-up TV special that was released in 2016.
