Bkub Okawa's absurd four panel web comic Pop Team Epic may be a cult hit, but it's hardly ever a serious matter, so when the most recent entry teases a "serious announcement" coming soon, fans take notice.
The most recent entry is viewable at Takeshobo's Manga Life Win digital publication here. The gist of the comic is that a "serious announcement" is on the way, and that can only mean one thing. The gutter-text for the comic includes the phrase "Pop Team Epic will finally [REDACTED]."
Fans are already speculating that an anime adaptation may be on the way, but if Bkub Okawa's previous trolling is anything to go by, the "serious announcement" could be literally anything.
