While the current HappinessCharge PreCure! has now only two episodes left, the upcoming 12th TV anime series Go! Princess PreCure has already started its promotion. In the end of the 47th episode today, a new 45-second PV introducing Cure Mermaid/Minami Kaidou was shown to the viewers, following the first one for Cure Flora/Haruka Haruno last week. Simultaneously, Toei Animation's official YouTube channel posted the clip on the web.
Though we can't check her character voice in the PVs yet, Cure Mermaid/Minami Kaidou is voiced by 37-year-old Masumi Asano who is known as Hakufu Sonsaku in the Ikki Tousen series. According to the description on the anime's website, Minami Kaidou is the 14-year-old president of the student council at a boarding junior high school named Noble Academy. Since she is a responsible person, the students sometime see her as strict. But in truth, she is a very generous and compassionate "older-sister"
type girl. She wants to become a person who can help others.
The highly anticipated Go! Princess PreCure is scheduled to premiere on February 1.
