Featuring Azusa dressed in an outfit similar to the one she wears in the anime’s ending credits, the figure is designed for maximum moe, depicting Azusa standing on her tiptoes with a vulnerable expression on her face. The highly detailed figure also includes Azusa’s guitar, which she can wear or prop up on the floor thanks to changeable right hand parts.
The figure is designed by figureneet, a well-known modeler from Japanese message board 2channel. It is produced in conjunction with sculptor Tsuyoshi Oda and his company, Stronger.
The figure will be available exclusively through preorders on Animaru!, an anime site run by TV network TBS. The site also features a Japanese-language interview with figureneet and Tsuyoshi Oda.
The figure retails for 9,800 yen. Preorders will run until 12:00 PM on February 9th.
The figure is based on a 5th anniversary drawing of Azusa Nakano.
