Crunchyroll Adds "GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka - The Animation" to Catalog

The weekend is almost upon us, but you might want to rush back to the classroom given the fact that GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka - The Animation, the 1999-2000 anime series based on the best-selling manga by Tohru Fujisawa, has just been added to Crunchyroll’s catalog of titles.

All 43 episodes of GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka - The Animation will be available to Premium members in today at 4 PM Pacific Time and will be available to free members in batches of 12 episodes per week.

Meet Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old ex-biker and college karate champ. He's crude, foul-mouthed, and has a hair-trigger temper. His goal: to be the greatest high school teacher in the world! Unfortunately, the only teaching job available is at Holy Forest Academy (no certification required). There he uses his street smarts to deal with colleagues and students alike.

GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka - The Animation will be available to Crunchyroll members in the following territories - US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America (including the Carribean), Europe (excluding France, Italy and the Netherlands), Africa and the Middle East
