Sumire Uesaka's Latest Song to be Featured as ED Song for "Hozuki no Reitetsu" OAD

The official site for anime voice actress/singer Sumire Uesaka announced yesterday on September 14 that the title song of her upcoming 5th single "Enma Daiou ni Kiitegoran" (Just ask the Great King Enma) will be featured as the ED theme for the three-episode OAD series of the Hozuki no Reitetsu anime, which will be bundled with the three tankobon volumes (17th, 18th, 19th) of Natsumi Eguchi's original manga.


 


The 13-episode TV anime series was aired in Japan from January 9 to April 3 this year. The same staff with the TV series including the director Hiro Kaburagi and character designer Hirotaka Kato are again working on the OAD series. The 17th volume is scheduled to be released on February 23, 2015, then followed by the 18th on May 22, the 19th on August 21. Advance screening events for the episodes are also planned to be held at 11 theaters across Japan from December 6 to 28, 2014.


 


Uesaka performed the OP theme song for the TV anime series, "Parallax View" (released as her 3rd single),


and also voiced Peach Maki, an idol in Hell who featured a peach motif in her costumes. "Enma Daiou ni


Kiitegoran" is written/composed by Elements Garden's Seima Iwahashi, who arranged "Kakumei Dualism"


(Valvrave the Liberator 2nd OP) by Nana Mizuki and T.M.Revolution. The CD single will be released in Japan


in three editions on December 10.
