New "K-On!" Arcade Game Rocks Location Test in Japan

K-On!'s popularity remains steady, at least steady enough for Sega to bust out another arcade game with the upcoming release of K-On! After School Rhythm Selection. Location tests kicked off on September 13 and are running through today in Japan.

After School Rhythm Selection features gameplay similar to K-On! After School Live!!, and has different versions of seven stages from that game. There's no final song list at the moment, but players can at least dig into seven songs during the location test.

Players have also been able to pick up cards that can be used with the arcade cabinet to get things like special character voiceovers. Among the 46 different cards players can get are some rarities, and apparently clothes featured on the cards will be reflected in the game itself.
