The site for fall's TV anime adaptation of Itokichi's odd bishonen comedy four-panel manga Orenchi no Furo Jijo (The bath situation in my house) has been updated with a better look at the designs for the support cast, specifically Maki, a nearsighted snail with a bleak disposition.

The manga has been serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Gene since its July 2011 issue and currently four tankobon volumes are available in Japan. The story centers on a high school student boy Tatsumi who lives by himself. One day he saves a blond haired merman named Wakasa in a river. The merman likes the bathtub of Tatsumi's house instantly, then decides to live in there.
The TV anime adaptation is produced by Asahi Production (Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector, Himegoto). Sayo Aoi, who recently worked for Samurai Flamenco and Diabolik Lovers as an episode director, makes her series directorial debut. Yunini Ayana (Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, Kin-iro Mosaic) works on series composition, Kouji Haneda (Hakuouki, Bakuman.) designs the anime characters.
The OP theme song will be performed by five-member visual-kei band Matenrou Opera.
The 13-episode TV anime Orenchi no Furo Jijo is scheduled to premiere on BS 11 and Nico Nico Douga in this October.
