Noa&Asuma's Original Anime VAs Join "Patlabor" Live-Action Film

Following Shigeru Chiba who has been playing his character Shigeo Shiba since the prologue, two more original voice cast from the anime series in the 1990s will join the upcoming fifth episode "Daikaiju Arawaru - Zenpen" (Giant monster rises - The first part) of the on-going The Next Generation -Patlabor- live-action film series. 48-year-old Miina Tominaga, who voiced Noa Izumi in the anime series, and 67-year-old Toshio Furukawa, the voice of her partner Asuma Shinohara, will make voice appearances as Radio DJs for about one minute in the episode directed by Mamoru Oshii himself. If possible, do you want to see them playing Noa and Asuma in the live-action series like Chiba plays Shiba?

The third chapter which contains the fourth episode "Norainutachi no Gogo" (Stray Dog Day Afternoon) and the fifth episode hits selected Japanese theaters on July 12 for a limited time of two weeks.
