When the first volume of Shonen Jump manga sells over a million copies, then it maintains stellar popularity, an anime adaptation is pretty much inevitable. In time for its two year anniversary in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 31, on sale June 30th, it looks like Assassination Classroom (Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) is ready to take that step.
The series will be getting a cover illustration and color page for the WSJ issue, and ahead of that, domain ANSATSU-ANIME.COM has been registered.

A special about a field trip to historic Kyoto was produced for this fall's Jump Super Anime Tour 2013.
